Chinese race, regarding whom no words of praise are
necessary from us in support of their claim to receive
every consideration and all protection from the British
Government. Their steadfast loyalty during the Great War and during the various crises throughwhich this Colony has passed, is fully known to the Government of
Hong Kong and the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
